I used to live at a place in East Hollywood called the Church of F.U.N. Back when you could live there. For no particular reason I decided to start a project in which I would write and record a new song every week and share it online until I felt like stopping. All the recordings were done in the main room there and it wasn't uncommon for there to be members of the house and friends hanging out or passing through while that was happening. After 14 songs I realized I had an album, and that is what this CD is.

I think Gibbons plays some banjo on a track, and Dusty plays tambourine or harmonica on a track. That might be on the other album from this project, Nine Weeks.

I wrote and played and engineered everything otherwise, as far as I can remember.

lyrics

Here in this house, we drink and we smoke
Tell dirty jokes, all night long
Then we lay down, on couches and floors
And when we wake up, we do our chores

Here in this house, you gotta try hard to dream
Find somewhere clean, to lay down your head
We're always up, the lights always on
The curse of the glow, is a blessing for some

Sometimes I wish I was by myself (x4)

Here in this house, we're falling in love
Building a thing, to be proud of
Figuring out, how far we can go
Burning things down, warmed by the glow
